The qualification encompasses essential knowledge, including the roles and responsibilities of the first aider and how to assess an incident, which is crucial in Emergency First Aid at Work. Moreover, it covers critical first aid skills such as CPR, the use of an AED, providing first aid to a choking casualty, and managing external bleeding, shock, and catastrophic bleeding. This training also supports Fire Safety Training and Risk Assessment Training by preparing individuals to respond effectively in emergencies.

The course also provides insight into how the environment can affect the provision of first aid, strategies for supporting various casualties, and the safe use of an automated external defibrillator.

Level 2 Principles of Fire Safety (Fire Warden) (RQF)

This qualification highlights that fire safety is everyone's responsibility while also addressing the recognition of fire causes, common hazards, and conducting fire risk assessments. In addition, participants will gain foundational knowledge applicable to Emergency First Aid at Work.
The Fire Safety Training course is delivered in a one-day classroom format by a trained and experienced instructor. Topics covered include hazards and risks, effective fire risk control, principles and practices of fire safety management in the workplace, and the responsibilities of the nominated fire warden, ensuring a comprehensive approach to Risk Assessment Training.
