Level 3 Emergency First Aid at work
Our emergency first aid at work courses are suited for any industry, meeting the requirments of the First Aid Regulations 1981 Act and employers obligations to the Health and safety at Work Act 1974.
The course can be provided as a Hybrid course, combining eLearning theory with on site practical training, or as a full 1 days training including theory and practicals delivered in the classroom enviroment.
The qualification covers knowledge such as the roles and responsibilities of the first aider and how to assess an incident. The qualification also covers first aid skills in CPR and use of an AED, providing first aid to a casualty who is choking and dealing with external bleeding and hypovolaemic shock.

Being able to manage a casualty with external bleeding. Being able to manage a casualty with a minor injury. Understand how the environment can impact on the provision of first aid. How to support a variety of casualties and the safe use of an automated external defibrillator

Our Conflict Management and Disengagement Training has been designed to provide conflict management skills to anyone working in a customer facing role, dealing with service users or the public in general.
It is applicable to a wide range of sectors, and can be taken by anyone requiring a better understanding of how to prevent conflict from arising, or would like to feel more confident in being able to deal with challenging situations. he course is delivered in 1 day in a classroom environment, by a trained and experienced trainer.
The qualification covers communication, human responses in conflict situations, assessing and reducing the risks in conflict situation, de-escalating conflict in emotive situations, good practice following a conflict situation and disengagement techniques.

Our Level 2 Principles of Fire Safety course has been developed to Instil the principles of fire safety in your team. Ultimately that comes down to ensuring your team have the required knowledge and understanding around fire safety.
Learners gaining this qualification will understand that fire safety is the responsibility of everyone, and will recognise the causes of fire, common hazards and fire risk assessments.
