Learn the skills and techniques in the implementation of handcuffs, becomming a competent handcuff user. The qualification covers knowledge such as the law in relation to the use of handcuffs, ACPO guidance on the use of handcuffs., human rights act relating to the use of handcuffs, health and safety relating to the use of handcuffs, PUWER 1998 (Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations), handcuff techniques; front stack, rear butterfly and safe prone restraint.
