To complete this qualification, learners are expected to finish pre-course work, which includes Emergency First Aid at Work training, ACT Awareness, ACT Security, and unit 1 PWIPSI eLearning. Participants will then engage in 44 hours of classroom learning over 6 days, focusing on essential topics such as working in private security, the role of a door supervisor, conflict management, and physical intervention.
The qualification also requires learners to take 4 multiple choice MCQ exams and complete practical assessments, including statement writing, conflict management scenarios, radio communication, and physical intervention skills. Additionally, there is an opportunity for a Door Supervisor Refresher course and a Security Guarding Refresher for those who need it.
